Returns and Refunds

Returns and Refunds

We can only offer refunds on faulty items. We do not offer a refund if you change your mind about a purchase, your circumstances have changed or you find cheaper products elsewhere — so please choose carefully.

If the product you have bought is faulty, we will provide a remedy as required by the Consumer Guarantees Act.

If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, please email us at toi@wandltaonga.nz or phone 021 177 9826 within 5 working days on receipt of goods so we can discuss your options.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start the process, you can contact us at toi@wandltaonga.nz. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

You can always contact us for any return question at toi@wandltaonga.nz

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, such as special orders or personalized or custom made Taonga, sale items or gift cards.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method excluding shipping charges as these are not covered. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Warranty

W&L Taonga will warranty your Taonga for a period of 3 months from the date of purchase against faulty workmanship. We may choose to repair or replace Taonga under this warranty period at our discretion. We will not warranty pieces that have been dropped, bumped, misused, neglected or exposed to excessive heat (due to the nature of the Epoxy Resin). We can tell how something has been broken by assessing it, so please be upfront and we will see what we can do to assist as our process for making our Taonga allow us to rejoin broken pieces.

We recommend that your Taonga is not exposed to hot water or worn while playing sport as excessive heat can soften the Epoxy Resin.

Do not spray deodorant, perfume, cologne, sunblock or any other similar products on your Taonga as the ingredients, especially Alcohol, can damage the Epoxy Resin.
